Thylacine Expeditions offers all year round, interpretive wildlife adventures within Tasmania’s National Parks and World Heritage areas. Tours operate along the entire Great Nature Trail and Cradle Coast region.

View Tasmania’s endemic species such as Tasmanian devils, Spotted Quolls, possums, platypus, bandicoots, pademelons and wombats in their natural habitat.

Tour numbers range from 2 to 12 persons, ensuring minimal disturbance to wildlife trails and providing an informative and intimate experience of Tasmania’s unique wildlife.

Most tours are conducted in the evening for up to four hours. Collection and return to your accommodation can be arranged. Specialised tours are conducted during the day; bird watching, short walks, four-wheel drive and mountain bikes rides. Tours are suited to any fitness level and combine high quality, authentic Tasmanian experiences in world class wilderness areas. Your tour guide is internationally acclaimed naturalist, Shane Malcolm.

Some meals and light refreshments provided.

The Wilderness Centre operates from 10 – 12 Edward Street Devonport and specialises in equipment hire or sale.
