Inspired by nature, specialised timbers, Huon Pine, Blackwood and Sassifras are crafted into fine furniture by designers such as Mark Bishop and Toby Muiir-Wilson in Stanley.

The 3 modern galleries in the complex accommodate more than 20 different exhibitions a year, from the gallery’s own permanent collection and exhibitions on tour, to special local, state or national events.
Home to one of the finest collections in Tasmania of Australian contemporary art. Situated at the Burnie Civic Centre.

The Wildness Gallery
From Olegas Truchanas and Peter Dombrovskis to Grant Dixon and Dennis Harding, Tasmania’s internationally-renowned wilderness photographers have shown the world the amazing wild landscapes – the peaks, lakes, forests, oceans shorelines and unique wildlife – of this southern island.
Situated at Cradle Mountain Chalet, Cradle Mountain.

Tiagarra Aboriginal Culture Centre and Museum
The centre offers guided tours of thousands of different artefacts arranged in many different displays, encompassing the Aborginal heritage of the area. See the rock engravings and visit the souvenir shop, which displays art & crafts by local Aborigines. Tasmanian Tourism Award Winner 2005. Mersey Bluff, Devonport TAS 7310

Yarns Artworks in Silk
Yarns Artwork in Silk is a display of silk art which depicts the landscape and 4 seasons of northern Tasmania’s Great Western Tiers. This work, crafted by more than 300 local artists, took 10,000 hours and 200 metres of hand-dyed silk to complete. Visit the Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre, 98-100 Emu Bay Road, Deloraine.

The Devonport Regional Gallery is managed by the Development and Community Services Department, a division of the Devonport City Council.
Opening hours are Monday to Saturday: 10am – 5pm, Sunday & Public holidays: 12pm – 5pm. Admission is free.

Tranquilles Art Gallery
Tranquilles Art Gallery features work by leading Tasmanian artists in a series of ongoing exhibitions. Work is displayed in two gallery spaces, in the reception area, and on the walls of the property’s Quills Cafe.
Situated at 9 Gumbowie Drive, Port Sorell near Devonport.

The Artists’ Garret
The Artists’ Garret in Deloraine is a working studio gallery, offering regular workshops in arts and craft. It features artworks in glass, ceramic, textiles and wood. Work from emerging artists in mediums such as jewellery, paintings and drawings are exhibited.
Situated at 29 West Church Street, Deloraine.
